The Waynesboro Economic Development Authority will meet Friday, March 12, at 8:30 a.m. at the Charles T. Yancey Municipal Building, Room 106.
The agenda for the meeting:
- Financial Report
- Presentation regarding the “Center for Cold Water Restoration” Project
- Discuss proposed expanded services of the Waynesboro Redevelopment and Housing Authority in the administration of the City’s economic development program
- Monthly updates: Downtown Redevelopment, Tourism, Industrial Properties
- Closed Meeting under Section 2.2-3711(a)(5) of the Freedom of Information Act, Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, regarding discussion concerning a prospective business or industry or the expansion of an existing business or industry where no previous announcement has been made of the business’ or industry’s interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the community and under Section 2.2-3711(a)(3) for discussion or consideration of the acquisition of real property for a public purpose, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the public body.
