Augusta Free Press co-owners Crystal and Chris Graham were guest presenters at a magazine-writing class at Virginia Tech on Thursday, April 28.
The class is taught by Sam Riley. Crystal Graham, a 1999 alumna of Virginia Tech, was a student in Riley’s magazine-writing class during her time in Blacksburg.
The Grahams talked to students about their experiences in journalism, offered advice on what young writers should do to enhance their skills and marketability, and led a question-and-answer session.
