AFP produced the DVD from footage and commentary from the AWE live pay-per-view event emanating from Augusta Expo in Fishersville on Oct. 15. AFP President Chris Graham, who appeared on the pay-per-view telecast as a commentator, led the effort to integrate the footage from the live broadcast with footage from an hour of matches that were contested before the broadcast began.

AFP Vice President Crystal Graham was in charge of packaging, including design of the DVD jacket and the slip cover for the discs, and oversaw production and delivery of the finished product.

AFP is now working on contract with AWE to market the DVD and handle sales and delivery of the product to consumers.

In addition to building upon the school news website, www.FishburneTimesConnect.org, that AFP built for FMS in the 2011-2012 school year, Augusta Free Press will produce monthly in-depth marketing pieces highlighting students, faculty, administration and programs at Fishburne using the web, digital magazine publishing and video.

AFP worked with Sigora to develop a website – www.sigorasolar.com – promoting the company’s commercial and residential services. AFP also produced two videos promoting Sigora’s work on the largest solar-thermal installation to date in the state of Virginia – at the Waynesboro Family YMCA.

AFP has as well produced two radio spots for Sigora that ran on radio stations in Charlottesville and Harrisonburg.

AFP designed a new website – www.bowerkeenan.com – for the company, formerly

the Albemarle Center for Health and Rehabilitation.

AFP also developed a new corporate logo for Drs. Bower, Keenan & Associates that is highlighted on the website and will be used in other marketing for the company.

Augusta Free Press LLC developed the new website for Curry, who will blog on food, culture,. home design, gardening and more at the site.

The project included building new Facebook and Twitter pages for GMA85.com and developing a mobile website.

AFP also developed a distinctive logo for GMA85 that is highlighted on the website and will be used elsewhere in association with marketing for the web magazine.

AFP redesigned ZEH’s corporate website – www.zehteam.com – and also built a new mobile website for the company.

AFP also created a new business Facebook page for ZEH as part of the project.

LTW Entertainment is running a TV ad campaign locally on Comcast with the assistance of Augusta Free Press LLC.

AFP produced the 30-second spot promoting LTW’s upcoming Friday, May 18 benefit show at Waynesboro High School for the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. AFP President Chris Graham developed the commercial from footage that he shot at an LTW live pro-wrestling show in Staunton in March.

AFP has also begun producing a series of web videos highlighting LTW Entertainment wrestling action with footage from that show and with ringside commentary from Graham.

The 1-4:30 p.m. class will cover the basics of building business websites, business Facebook pages and blogging and public relations for business. The class will also provide an overview of how to integrate your website and social media into an effective overall marketing and advertising strategy.

The course will be taught by AFP President Chris Graham. Augusta Free Press LLC has designed more than 100 business websites for clients in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Southern California and was a 2012 nominee for the Shenandoah Valley Technology Council’s High-Tech Company of the Year Award.

The May 24 class will be offered at the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce, 800 Country Club Road, Harrisonburg.

“The Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce 2011 Annual Awards” will air on WVPT-Virginia’s Public Television on Sunday, May 6, at 11:30 a.m.

The television show was produced for WVPT by Augusta Free Press, which produced a series of videos highlighting the winners at the March 20 Annual Awards Dinner that served as the basis for the half-hour TV broadcast.

“We’re excited to have this opportunity to showcase what we can and to showcase business and industry in the Greater Augusta region,” said Augusta Free Press LLC president Chris Graham, who was responsible for filming, editing and producing the TV show for WVPT.

The broadcast will feature an opening with David Mullins, the president of WVPT, who initiated the effort to bring the Annual Awards to TV after seeing clips of the Awards Dinner videos online.

The show will also feature a welcome message from Chamber President and CEO Linda Hershey.

The High Tech Company Award recognizes outstanding commercial growth and achievement by an established company that produces and markets predominantly high tech products or services.

The other nominees in the category this year are Cadence Inc. and Dynamic Aviation.

“We are humbled to be mentioned in same breath with established companies like Cadence and Dynamic Aviation. It truly is an honor just to be nominated,” said Chris Graham, the president and co-founder of Augusta Free Press LLC, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2012.
